Food Photography
Who doesn’t like food? No one. Food is a part of our lives and food pictures surround us. They are on Pinterest, Instagram, etc. And almost everyone has a phone, food pictures are more accessible than ever.
Whether the image is taken on a phone or camera, there are still technical aspects of producing an image. The biggest one is lighting. Sometimes the restaurant or wherever you’re at the lighting is not enough or too much. Usually, not enough light is more common. Having an external flash can make a difference.
Another huge part of food photography is the set-up. This includes the background, foreground, and focal point or the focus. Is the focus in the middle, to the left, or to the right? What about other props? A colorful napkin can make an image pop out even more.

A good tip, if you want to photograph a glass of red wine, is to use cranberry juice instead. It won’t be as dark as red wine which is easier to photograph. And if you don’t like wine you won't have to spend money on a bottle of wine that you will never drink.
